WANT TO SWIM FASTER - COACH CLINT

Three days ago I was on deck while a group of triathletes were going through the meters I’d laid out for them.  One of the swimmers hit the wall, looked up at me and after a moment said, “I want to swim faster.”  This young woman is serious about the sport and wants very much to see how far she can go.  She’s twenty two now and has been swimming for about three years. TANG SMOKES DAWSON CREEK SPRINT

Congratulations to Peak Performance athlete Irvin Tang for his victory at the Dawson Creek sprint triathlon (coincidentally the birth place of his coach) on May 27. Irvin's time of 49:16 for the 500 meter swim, 15K ride and 4K run was good enough to take the blue ribbon.

WURTELE - PRO REPORT

The Peak Performance gang was proud to see Heather Wurtele place 10th overall in her pro debut at a tough day out at Wildflower.  Way to go Heather! Read her post race interview with Coach Clint

IRVIN TANG - WILDFLOWER REPORT

Peak Performance athlete Irvin Tang produced two outstanding results in his two last at bats.  At Wildflower his 5:11 on a tough day surprised everyone except his coach.  It was a 1/2 P.B. for Irvin on a decidedly non-P.B. day! See his [Race Report]. Just two weeks later he toed the line at the Cultus Lake Oly and placed 11th overall in a deep field.
