Some stuff about me:

I was out of shape and woke up one day and said I’m going to do an Ironman. That was 22 months ago.  Now I’ve got a renewed motivation for training after 28 years of running competitively off and on, and one goal: “qualify for Kona”.

I love to suffer, bring on the brutal weather of winter.  Cold wet runs up mountains; Five and six hour cyclocross rides in the mud, it all just makes me stronger.  I’m not sure why it’s so hard to find training partners who will show up more than once?

My other goal this year will be to raise awareness and money for Charley’s Fund through my quest to get to Kona.  Charley’s Fund raises money for research to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  To find out more or how you can help, you can at my blog
