2006:
What a day!
 I
was so exhausted
by the time we
got to the house
last night -
full body
tired. I don't
think I was this
tired last year
when we got back
to the house
with my 3rd
place finish.
I had a great
day being a
volunteer. I am
glad I did it -
really glad. I
think I helped a
lot of people.
It was a joy to
yell
encouragement to
so many athletes
and hand them
water and ice
when they needed
it. I had some
nice little
walk and chats
with competitors
in the later
part of the
night. I have
never been out
on the course
with the glow
sticks - it is a
must. It was
very important
to me to see the
race from the
view of a
volunteer. I
would definitely
volunteer again.
