OCTOBER 16, 2004: This is it: the day I get to rock!

Hopefully the spirits on the Island support me in my quest to win Number 4.

I really want to try and win the race in dedication for some people that have gone through some rough times this summer:

What's the race day plan?  I am not sure.  Mark has this feeling that the race is going to be won in the last six miles of the marathon.  I ran into Paula this week and she feels the same way.  I have been training to be strong the last six miles of the run.  I need a good swim so that I can stay with the main pack of contenders then see what I have for the run. 

Should be one hell of a race.  I can't wait!
